Required Experience

term planning and performance management.
Oversee compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across all financial activities.
Manage inventory controls, including monthly balance reviews and reconciliation of physical counts to system records.
Act as a change agent for continuous improvement, driving enhancements in financial processes and systems.
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Education:
University Degree.
Field of Study Preferred:
Accounting, Finance, Business.
Required Work Experience:
at least 5 years of financial management experience with increasing responsibility and complex roles.
Required Training/Certifications:
Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent education and experience and continuing professional education.
Required Technical Skills:
MS Office, Google Suite, SAP.
Travel Requirements:
regular travel between Calgary and the Exshaw plant.
Additional Requirements:
IFRS / US GAAP knowledge, an asset.
Demonstrated financial/business analysis/cost control skills.
Detailed knowledge of Amrize plant operations an asset.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Strong ability to influence with and without authority.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
