Qualifications:
· College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant social service field
· A minimum of 3 years’ management experience in a residential/comparable setting
· Experience in staff supervision, evaluation and performance management within a unionized environment
· Demonstrated ability to oversee and control operating expenses and allocated resources to ensure maximum benefit to clients/the program in a financially sound and responsible manner
· Demonstrated ability to lead and influence individuals and teams in the context of change, towards a vision/mission while maintaining group cohesiveness, motivation, commitment and effectiveness: strong leadership skills
· Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and welcoming employment environment that values each individual; respects their values, preferences and unique abilities
· Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; excellent consultation, change management, conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation skills
· Exemplary emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
