Currently looking for casual staff to fill in at Grimshaw, Peace River, Spirit River, Fairview, Brownvale, Manning and we have a part time 3hrs per week available in Hines Creek.
Looking for casual Community Disability Services Workers for Grimshaw and Peace River areas. Casual Shifts may include weekdays and up to 12 hr. shifts on weekends as needed. Applicants must have a valid class 5 drivers license & reliable vehicle as well as a Valid AB First Aid certificate. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting people with their Personal care & Diet. (Good math skills ( including a math assessment) is necessary for the Grimshaw program).
Position Summary
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Community Disability Services Worker is responsible for providing support to Individuals in accordance with Blue Heron’s philosophy, the Principles of Support and the Individual’s Personal Support plan. The Community Disability Services Worker provides support that facilitates the Individual’s growth, development and achievement of personal goals.
The Community Disability Services Worker works closely and in consultation with the Team Leader, Program Coordinator and the Individual’s support team.
