Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Governance
· Support the Board of Directors in strategic planning, governance, and policy implementation.
· Provide regular operational and financial updates to the Board.
· Ensure PCA activities align with its mission, bylaws, and community values.
Operations Management
· Oversee day‑to‑day administration, including office management and coordination with staff, contractors, and volunteers.
· Support PCA programs such as community soccer, the Garden Committee, and rink operations.
· Manage facility rentals, bookings, and communications with renters and community partners.
· Ensure compliance with relevant municipal, provincial, and organizational regulations.
Community Engagement
· Serve as a key point of contact for residents, partners, and community groups.
· Promote PCA programs, events, and initiatives through newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
· Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including volunteers, local organizations, and the City of Calgary.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
· Assist with budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting in coordination with the PCA Treasurer or Executive.
· Support fundraising initiatives, grant applications, and sponsorship opportunities.
· Maintain accurate records, contracts, and organizational documentation.
Qualifications
· Robust interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and boards.
· Knowledge of community recreation, event coordination, or facility management.
· Experience with budgeting, grant writing, or fundraising.
· Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, scheduling tools).
· Experience in non‑profit or community organization leadership, program coordination, or operations management is an asset.
