free, correctly shaped, and meet required dimensions and specifications

Safely operate jib cranes to load and unload material from brake presses Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines such as shears, power presses, saws, plate rolls, drills, brakes, slitters, punch presses, computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment, and other hand tools to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch and drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet production goals and timelines

Skills and Experience Adapt to a changing work environment, competing demands and be able to deal with frequent changes, delays or other unexpected events
\n
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and engineering drawings
\n
Ability to read and understand tape measure / protractor and other measuring tools Mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills are considered an asset
\n
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively and efficiently Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending
\n
Qualifications

Experience operating metalworking machines; previous brake press experience preferred
