Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial and industrial settings
Operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks
Use custodial supplies and cleaning agents appropriately while adhering to safety protocols
Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and fixtures
Assist with heavy lifting and moving of furniture or equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning or maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or any issues encountered
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
Requirements
Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred; however, training will be provided for motivated candidates
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely
Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus
Reliable transportation to work locations as needed
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in all tasks
Pay: $17.00
