Required Experience

$70,000 annually DOE + health and dental benefits + RRSP matching + paid time off!
Shift Structure: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Place purchase orders for parts and materials based on production requirements
Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure best value in quality, cost, and delivery
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date supplier records
Monitor open purchase orders and adjust delivery schedules to align with production needs
Expedite orders when necessary to prevent production delays
Resolve invoice discrepancies and work with suppliers to correct issues
Requirements/Qualifications:
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, shop‑floor staff, and management
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency when required
Excellent interpersonal skills and qualified communication style (email and phone)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Experience with Visual Manufacturing (VISUAL ERP) is considered an asset
Experience working within a heavy manufacturing environment is considered an asset
