Required Qualifications:
Completion of a two year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology from an accredited Institute of Technology. Active or eligible for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Healthcare IT knowledge such as networking (including various protocols and associated hardware), application interfaces, antivirus/encryption, and experience with computerized maintenance management software and medical diagnostic software. Demonstrate technical skills and mechanical aptitude. Demonstrate valuable interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, proven organization skills. Must be reliable, alert, accurate, capable of working independently and possess good judgment and initiative. Travel outside the city or country will be required for equipment support training. Travel within Alberta will be required. Must have a valid passport.

6 years’ experience in medical equipment/technology support (Diagnostic Imaging preferred) coupled with several courses in diagnostic imaging equipment service.
