Bikes. You will be an essential part of our team, working with our Service Manager and fellow technicians to provide an efficient and professional experience for our customers. We provide various different tune up packages and services to meet the customers needs. Everything from basic safety inspections, to frame bearing and suspension service. Your job will consist of working on previously quoted bikes that are in for repair, do the predetermined maintenance as well as recommend future service and parts as needed based on the condition of the bike. Our service manager takes care of majority of the communications between the customer and the store, the scheduling, and the availability of parts. Your job is to ensure the timely completion of bike service, maintain your bench, and the general organization of the back shop. We supply all the tools and resources needed to complete your work.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform Service and Maintenance on a variety of bikes
· Create professional relationships with customers and learn their needs and wants
· Recommend future maintenance and upgrades as needed
· Keep a clean work space, organize parts and tools as needed
Qualifications
· 2+ Years of Experience working as a Bike Technician (Mandatory)
· Comfortable working with strict deadlines
· Experience servicing suspension and dropper posts
· Bike Room Certification or similar an asset
· Capable of working on computers, looking up part numbers, writing notes etc.
