Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashiering duties Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Ensure timely service during busy periods by managing multiple orders effectively with strong time management skills Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest Experience Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Experience in the food industry or food service environment is advantageous Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours This role offers an engaging work environment where you can enhance your skills in food preparation, customer service, and cash handling while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to quality service.
