Overview
We’re hiring a Bakery Assistant & Decorator to help with daily baking, cake decorating, and pastry preparation. This role includes preparing various pastries, decorating cakes, restocking displays, and maintaining a clean workspace. We specialize in European and Portuguese goods.
You’ll also have creative freedom to suggest recent ideas and decorate in your own style!
Requirement: 2+ years of bakery and decorating experience.
Duties
Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
Decorate cakes using buttercream, cream cheese, piping, and other techniques
Assemble and finish desserts (layering, glazing, toppings, etc.)
Restock and organize display cases to look clean and appealing
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Clean and maintain workstations and equipment
Help with basic prep (measuring ingredients, mixing, etc.)
Support team members during busy periods
Qualifications
2+ years of bakery and cake decorating experience
Friendly and team
