Required Experience

secondary education in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child & Youth Care, Recreation Therapy, Education, Social Work, or a related field
· 2–3 years of experience working in childcare, school

age programs, summer camps, or recreation services
· Experience working with children and young adults with moderate to severe developmental disabilities
· Experience supervising staff and supporting daily program operations
Location
This position may be assigned to either campus, depending on needs and scheduling.

Conditions of Employment
· This position requires frequent bending, stooping, and twisting, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and walking up to 3 km to support students during a community outing or field trips
· Applicants WHO ARE OFFERED EMPLOYMENT must complete and pass a ‘police security clearance’ and a ‘vulnerable sector check’ before employment is confirmed.
· Valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to obtain expense a Class 4 Driver’s Licence
· First Aid and CPR Level C
· Proof of educational requirements
