Overview
Salary Range: $52,000–$57,000 gross annually, based on previous experience. As the Assistant Laundry Manager, your care and attention to detail in our Laundry operation will ensure exceptional standards for our hotel lines. You will take pride in facilitating a memorable guest stay.\n
Responsibilities
Ensure the upkeep of all Laundry/Valet areas with care, cleanliness and maintenance.
Train and supervise all employees within the Laundry/Valet department.
Monitor health and safety regulations and WHMIS training.
General office administration, including town contracts, payroll, scheduling, ordering supplies and inventory control.
Performance evaluation of all Laundry/Valet colleagues.
Conduct room and food and beverage linen inventories and, in conjunction with the Rooms Division and Food & Beverage Division Managers, place orders to ensure adequate supplies based on business levels.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience required.
Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products is an asset.
Valid Alberta driver’s license required; ability to drive a standard vehicle is an asset.
Able to work flexible schedule over a 24
