Required Experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with a variety of personnel
CPA designation in progress or fully completed (CA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Position Details

Hours: Generating Units
Oversee internal and external audits through oversight of club analysts and preparation of relevant supporting documentation
o Act as point person for the requests in order to review/return requests in a timely manner
Oversee and manage the duties of at least three other staff members in the accounting department including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Manage the control function of the Dynamics SL user review (granting/limiting access as required)
Liaise with the department managers to develop annual budgets
• Prepare, review and make recommendations for consolidated annual budgets for TWC Enterprises Limited and Club Link Corporation ULC
• Assist with preparation of budget presentation for Board Review
Review and approve account transfers on RBC
• Set up wires for approval on RBC
• Manage user access on RBC
• Review and sign cheques for as necessary.
• Financial projects and analysis as needed
In order to meet public reporting deadlines, it is often required for this position to complete work outside of regular office hours (evenings and weekends) for Quarterly and Annual reporting
Qualification:
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Dynamics Solomon (general ledger package), FRX, Word
• Fulfillment of a designated accounting program – preferably with exposure to International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
