Position Overview The Assistant Dining Room Manager supports the Dining Room Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations while also assisting with banquet setup, service, and event execution. This role is ideal for a service‑driven leader who thrives in both structured dining environments and fast‑paced event settings. Must have mandatory Banquet experience.

Key Responsibilities

Dining Room Operations
\n
Assist in supervising daily dining room service, including staff oversight and guest flow.
Support staff scheduling, floor management, and table assignments.
Ensure consistent service standards and guest satisfaction.
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain dining room cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness.

Banquet Support
\n
Assist with banquet setup, execution, and breakdown.
Coordinate with banquet captains, culinary teams, and event planners to ensure accurate event execution.
Support inventory management for banquet equipment and supplies.
Help maintain high standards of presentation and service during events.
\nLeadership & Team Development\n
Train, coach, and support servers, hosts, and banquet staff.
Lead pre‑shift meetings and communicate daily priorities.
Promote a positive, collaborative team workplace.
Uphold health, safety, and service standards.

Administrative Duties

Assist with POS management, reporting, and daily logs.
Help monitor labor costs and staffing needs.
Support menu rollouts, service improvements, and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in dining room supervision, banquet service, or related hospitality roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Experience with POS systems and basic administrative tasks.
Smart Serve or equivalent certification (if applicable).
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
