Excel in a leadership role as Area Manager, specializing in Janitorial and Maintenance Services. Ensure operational standards and customer satisfaction while managing a team across various sites.
This position, lasting 6 months, focuses on planning and directing operational activities to achieve targets. You'll manage budgets effectively, inspect work quality, and ensure adherence to company policies. Direct customer engagement and team leadership will be pivotal in your success, including hiring and training new associates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review costs and ensure compliance with budget standards
• Inspect worksites to ensure quality control
• Assign personnel and implement schedules accurately
• Handle payroll approval and necessary adjustments
• Travel extensively for inspections and client meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Maintenance or Janitorial services
• Experience in a unionized workplace preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Flexibility for evening and weekend hours as required
