Area Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities
Ensure a safe work workplace for all employees by ensuring equipment is in optimal operating condition and adheres to safety standards.
Implement the maintenance strategy, monitor key performance indicators, and complete corrective and preventive actions to achieve short and medium term objectives.
Lead and develop a team of multidisciplinary maintenance professionals to increase the durability of equipment and address obsolescence challenges.
Enhance process reliability by implementing and ensuring the effectiveness of maintenance plans.
Oversee and optimize the maintenance budget including workforce, supply, and services.
Foster team development and empowerment, actively support succession planning, and collaborate closely with the Site Maintenance Manager to strengthen the team’s leadership pipeline.
Qualifications
Technical college diploma, bachelor or graduate degree, or an equivalent experience.
3+ years as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
Proven success in resource planning and team development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and resolve issues.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal plant customers.
Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and a collaborative leader.
