Hourly rate is negotiable for those with relevant tree care and tree climbing experience.
Serving Olds to South Calgary and surrounding areas, Mountain Country Tree Care provides premium quality tree services for residential and commercial clients. Work includes, but is not limited to pruning, removals and fertilizing.
We are looking for an eager individual to join the team and learn the trade. Job activities will include everything from learning tree health care to climbing skills and ground work systems and equipment.
This trade is extremely physically demanding and requires candidates to be in valuable health with the ability to work outdoors in a variety of conditions. Trade will require working at heights, heavy lifting, bending, climbing, using power tools and heavy equipment consciously and safely.
Experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be on the job and paid. Success will be dependant on candidate's ability to leave their comfort zone and perform a variety of demanding tasks to learn the trade such as tree climbing and operating a wood chipper. A growth mindset and willingness to push one's self is required.
Work is Monday to Friday, but will start at 3 days a week and a successful candidate will be offered more hours as the season progresses.
MUST have valid driver's license.
When at work in company vehicles you will be paid for all travel.
PPE provided (minus gloves and steal toed boots)
Must be able to follow direction and instruction and be able to be contacted throughout the day.
Speaking with clients and the public happens daily so a positive outlook is required.
