The work involves verifying compliance with regulations regarding the replacement of trees that have been cut down within the Town limits and raising public awareness.
This is a temporary full time position, approximately from May to September 2026. EXAMPLES OF TASKS PERFORMED Ensure compliance with municipal regulations regarding the planting and replacement of trees.
Identify the trees (species, location, height, diameter).
Compile and georeference tree data using a tablet (e.g., ArcGIS).
Inform and educate citizens about the regulations governing trees on private property.
Answer the various questions related to this field of activity.
Conduct field patrols to verify compliance on private property.
Ensure the entry of computer data and the digitization of documents.
Use various office equipment and software as needed.
Performs any other related task. INSTRUCTION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Instruction: Vocational Diploma in Horticulture or Arboriculture.
