Required Experience

secondary education, training or certification in Health Information Management, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered. 1ā3 years working in a healthcare environment and with healthcare data. Ability to navigate databases and information systems to search for, retrieve, and organize information. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau. Effective verbal and written communication. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access), and the ability to learn new software tools quickly. Creative and resourceful approach to solving data and evaluation challenges. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Connect Care Hyperspace. Experience with Tableau and developing Tableau dashboard. Experience with SQL or other relevant data extraction tools. Understanding of Cancer Care Alberta operations and how these may differ from acute care inpatient operations. Experience communicating with a range of stakeholders, including peers, managers, directors, and healthcare professionals.
