Senior Advisor, Regulatory Affairs 5 days ago – Be among the first 25 applicants. As a Senior Advisor Regulatory Affairs in the Integrated Risk Management team at National Bank, you’ll act as a specialist in compliance with non‑financial risk management frameworks, contributing to the continuous improvement of these frameworks in accordance with regulatory guidelines and strengthening regulatory risk governance. Your role Lead and maintain the documentation of the regulatory compliance matrix including the regulatory monitoring of regulatory bodies’ guidance. Analyze OSFI expectations and lead their integration into non‑financial risk management frameworks. Identify and report material regulatory risks; and recommend adequate and efficient mitigants. Contribute to the implementation of the integrity and security risk management framework. Provide regulatory expertise in new projects and regulatory reviews. Contribute to the execution of periodic compliance attestation initiatives. Lead the preparation of documentation and reports to senior management. Conduct the analysis required to support the Bank’s representation with various agencies and bodies: regulatory authorities, industry and other stakeholders (OSFI, CBA and others). Your team As part of the Integrated Risk Management sector, you will be part of a team of fifteen colleagues and report to the Senior Director, Regulatory Oversight and Living Wills. Our team’s mission is to serve as a regulatory expertise hub, supporting the IRM sector in the regulatory governance of risk management frameworks. Prerequisites 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in risk management or regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of the regulations applicable to banks (OSFI). Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to synthesize and present information for a senior management audience. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across hierarchical levels. Strong analytical skills, rigor, and ability to elaborate solutions to remediate complex challenges. Solid ability for efficient organization and adaptability to operate in an evolving regulatory environment while ensuring compliance with deadlines set by regulatory authorities.
