Job Summary The APRN or Physician Assistant provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of professionals to diagnose and manage clients’ health care problems. Maintains an annual protocol with a supervising physician, as required by state regulatory agencies. Performs duties in alignment with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision and values. Qualifications Current licensure as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida. FNP or dual Adult Gerontology and Primary Care board certification required for APRNs. At least one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider.
