C), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Immunization Certificate.

Competencies Minimum: 1 to 2 years Supervisory / Nurse in Charge experience Preferred: 3+ years Supervisory/Nurse in Charge experience Experienced in working northern First Nations Clinical expert and resource person in the specialized practice of primary care nursing Ability to speak/understand Cree/Dene and cultural competence is considered a valuable asset.

Ability to travel extensively and possession of a valid driver’s license.
\n
Proficient with computers, i.e., Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook; including: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and database management.
\n
Demonstrate capability and performance in the areas of: working with minimal supervision, excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, initiative and adaptability, prioritizing multiple demands, working independently.
