Required Experience

Additional Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent. Medical Office Administration Certification with Medical Terminology Certification required. Minimum of one (1) year recent scheduling experience with Connect Care required. Minimum of three (3) years recent Diagnostic Imaging experience required with an understanding of Diagnostic Imaging scheduling processes. Word Processing experience with MS Office Suite required. Must be cognizant of all legal regulations and AHS Policies as they apply to Diagnostic Imaging (for example, HIA & FOIP). Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to listen, comprehend and orally respond to or relay information, directions, or questions in person, over the phone or in writing, in an accurate, clear, and concise manner. Must have excellent interpersonal and public relation skills with polite and pleasant telephone manners. Must be able to work at a fast pace to consistently produce a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency. Ability to work and problem solve under minimal supervision required. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time at a computer in a close setting with other team members. Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks, while adapting to changing circumstances and interruptions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with an imaging archive (PAC’s) system preferred.
