You enjoy leading a small team, partnering with operators outside of finance, and improving processes.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the month‐end close across multiple entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent financial reportingReview and prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactionsAct as the primary accounting contact internally and externally, providing responsive and professional supportOversee cost‐tracked, project‐based financial activity, ensuring costs are accurately captured, allocated, and reconciledPartner cross‐functionally to support billing cycles, maintain accurate cost reporting, and resolve discrepanciesMaintain strong controls over purchasing and invoice processes, including approval workflows and three‐way matchingLead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team with a hands‐on, player‐coach approachTake ownership of team deliverables, balancing execution with coaching and performance developmentPrepare and review internal and external financial statements in accordance with ASPESupport year‐end activities and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance and accuracyIdentify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls, efficiency, and reporting qualityAct as a subject matter expert on accounting systems and support system enhancements as needed.SKILLS & EXPERIENCECPA designation is an asset10+ years of progressive accounting experience with proven leadership experience.Experience in project‐based or cost‐tracked accounting environmentsComfortable working across multiple entities and related‐party activityDetail‐oriented, accountable, and collaborative with outstanding communication skills.#J
