oriented Accountant to manage corporate accounting, reporting, and compliance activities, with a focus on trust funds and regulatory filings. This role reports to the Manager of Accounting & Administration and is in office 5 days a week downtown Hamilton Key Responsibilities of this Accountant are: This Accountant will be responsible for the following: Maintain general ledger, perform reconciliations, and conduct financial analysis Prepare monthly corporate reports Manage HST, RST (trust funds), insurance premium tax, and EHT filings Oversee T2 corporate and T3 trust tax returns Process AML / KYC documentation Complete GST 494 filings Ensure compliance with CRA and regulatory requirements Support audits, budgeting, and special project Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance; CPA (or in progress) preferred3+ years of experience in corporate accounting and tax compliance (trust fund / financial services experience is an asset)Robust knowledge of Canadian tax regulations (HST, RST, EHT, T2, T3, GST494)Familiarity with AML / KYC processes Proficient in accounting software and Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
