60% effort) may include, but not be limited to, inpatient ID consultation, ambulatory care and equitable participation in ID after hours call. Individual areas of clinical interest, may be incorporated into the role. The successful applicant will dedicate at least 30% of their time to research/innovation/education scholarship.
The successful candidate will be an MD (or equivalent) with certification in Infectious Diseases with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent), be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The successful candidate will also have training and experience in Antimicrobial Stewardship. Additional academic training such as a Master’s of Education or Quality is considered an asset, but not required.
