time employment during the summer of 2026. This position is ideal for an ambitious student who enjoys helping others learn and is eager to build teaching experience. The role is based out of the Evergreen Education Support Centre at 140 Centre Ave W, Gimli.

Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to report to the location by 8:30 a.m., Monday to Friday.

The Summer Literacy

Tutor will provide personalized one

starter who is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping students build confidence and success in literacy. Bachelor's degree or currently in progress
\n
Availability Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, May 1 to August 31, 2026
\n
Valid driver's license
\n
Exceptional patience, empathy, and communication skills
\n
Strong eagerness to learn current skills and take initiative
\n
Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and conscientious work habits
\n
Experience with tutoring or supporting literacy development is considered an asset Preference will be given to graduates of Evergreen School Division who are enrolled in Education or Linguistics programs and/or have prior structured literacy tutoring experience.
\n
