Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces to ensure smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as familiarity with various construction tools and processes. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, including new construction, restoration, and renovation of commercial and residential structures.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve desired textures and smoothness.
- Set forms and molds for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability according to schematics and blueprints.
- Install rebar and other reinforcement materials to strengthen concrete structures.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting, moving, and positioning materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately.
- Perform masonry work, including caulking, flooring installation, and other related tasks as needed.
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, curing, and restoration projects.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects requiring carpentry, welding, or other construction skills.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished surfaces meet industry standards for appearance and durability.
Skills
