Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Consultant Talent Solutions – Career Transition Coach. This unique role combines expert coaching delivery with strategic HR consultation to serve both our career transition participants and our corporate clients.
In this role, you will provide personalized coaching and guidance to individuals navigating career transitions while also leveraging your HR expertise to support our corporate clients with HR services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in career transition coaching, career development, coaching, presentation skills, and human resources, with the ability to effectively engage and support individuals in their career journeys while providing strategic HR guidance to organizations.
How you'll make an impact
Career Transition Coaching:
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to individuals undergoing career transitions including job search, career change, redeployment, retirement, and those returning to the workforce
- Assess clients' skills, interests, and goals to develop personalized career transition plans
- Offer guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, networking strategies, and job search techniques
- Support clients in identifying and overcoming obstacles and challenges during their career transition process
- Provide ongoing support and accountability to ensure clients stay motivated and on track toward their career goals
- Available for onsite coaching and support as needed
Presentation Facilitation:
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations on various career-related topics, both in-person and virtually
- Adapt presentation content and delivery style to meet the needs of different audiences, including individuals, groups, and organizations
- Utilize multimedia tools and technology to enhance the effectiveness of virtual presentations
- Encourage audience participation and interaction through activities, discussions, and Q&A; sessions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in career development and incorporate them into presentations
Content Creation:
- Ability to create content for career transition, have the ability to develop and create high-quality written and visual content
- Develop articles, blog posts, guides, and multimedia resources that provide valuable insights and guidance to individuals going through career transitions
HR Consultation & Support:
- Provide fractional HR services to corporate clients, including talent management strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning guidance
- Advise clients on HR best practices, compliance considerations, and employee relations matters
- Support clients with talent acquisition strategies, performance management frameworks, and succession planning
- Consult on organizational restructuring, change management, and workforce transition initiatives
- Conduct HR assessments and provide recommendations for improving organizational effectiveness
- Partner with corporate clients to design and implement talent development and retention strategies
- Stay current on employment law, HR trends, and industry best practices to provide informed consultation
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, colleagues, and industry professionals
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and comprehensive career transition support system
- Network and attend industry events to expand professional connections and stay informed about market trends
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the organization's services and expertise to potential clients and partners
