Qualifications
- Must hold a valid 442A or 309A license in valuable standing
- Master Electrician License (Ontario), an asset
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, and motor control centres (MCC's)
- Experience working within a stamping environment, maintaining large-scale mechanical or hydraulic presses, including familiarity with light curtains, safety interlocks, and clutch/brake systems.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, P&ID;'s, and CAD drawings to ensure all work meets the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC).
- Ability to bend, cut, and thread conduit
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to work at heights
- Project coordination experiences an asset
