About the Role
Inspired is hiring a People & Culture Coordinator to help create a smooth, supportive employee experience for ~400 team members across BC, AB, SK, and ON. This is a coordination-forward role: youâll keep the details moving (onboarding, documentation, recruitment scheduling, training tracking, internal updates), and youâll be one of the friendly go-to people when employees and leaders have questions.
Payroll support is part of the role (about 30%) - focused on coordinating a clean biweekly cycle with our internal partners.

What Youâll Do
People & Culture Coordination
- Coordinate onboarding from âyouâre hired!â to âyouâre set up!ââ paperwork support, setup requests, schedules, and first-week check-ins
- Support recruitment logistics: post roles, schedule interviews, coordinate candidate communications, and keep hiring trackers tidy
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR files (organized, confidential, and easy to find)
- Support employee lifecycle changes (promotions, transfers, role updates, departures) and keep documentation on point
- Prepare standard employee letters and forms (employment confirmations, change letters, etc.)
- Track training and compliance items (mandatory training, refreshers, certifications) and follow up on completion
- Help keep policies, templates, and SOPs currentâthen make them clearer, smoother, and more user-friendly
- Support People & Culture projects like recognition moments, engagement activities, surveys, and internal comms
Payroll Coordination
- Coordinate biweekly payroll for ~400 employees across provinces using Kaya Push
- Collect and confirm payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, pay changes) and ensure everything is captured accurately
- Partner with Finance and leaders on payroll reporting and corrections as needed
- Respond to payroll questions with care, clarity, and confidentiality
What Youâll Bring (must-haves)
- 1â3+ yearsâ experience in People & Culture/HR coordination, People Ops, office administration, or similar
- Strong coordination skills: you can juggle multiple timelines, stakeholders, and moving parts
- High attention to detail and comfort working with confidential employee information
- Clear, friendly communicationâcomfortable supporting employees and leaders by email, phone, and chat
- Confidence with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and keeping trackers clean
- Experience learning and using HR systems/tools (bonus if youâve used Kaya Push)
Nice-to-Haves
- Exposure to payroll coordination and biweekly cycles
- Experience supporting multi-location or multi-province teams
- Familiarity with benefits coordination and leave documentation support
- Interest in professional development in HR and/or payroll (e.g., CPHR/PCP coursework)
