Sr API Developer - saint-nazaire-d'acton (Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton, Quebec)
Role : Senior Full Stack developer - API & Integration (AWS)
Duration : 6 Months (highly chance to extends)
Location : Toronto, ON (Need to go 2-3 days in week)
Role Overview
This role is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-grade APIs and integrations on AWS, ensuring high reliability, security, and scalability in a regulated banking workplace.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using API Gateway and AWS Lambda
- Build secure and resilient integration services with internal and external systems
- Implement asynchronous processing using SQS and DLQ patterns
- Ensure idempotent, fault-tolerant, and scalable API design
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and data teams
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using CloudWatch
Required Qualifications :
- 8+ years backend/API development experience
- Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB)
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js
- Experience with REST API design and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements within large Canadian banking environments.
