Position Overview
Cabot Cape Breton is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor – Team Housing, to join our dynamic and growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the Team Housing Manager with overseeing the facilities and maintenance functions by providing leadership and direction in the efficient and effective operations across our Team Housing facilities. Core Accountabilities:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Assist the Team Housing Manager in planning the daily flow of tasks based on priority level, always keeping the guest impact and experience top of mind.
- Supervise maintenance technicians while providing guidance and training to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with the Team Housing Manager to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery and facilities to proactively identify maintenance needs.
- Be an on-call presence to deal with issues as they arrive at one of our team housing sites
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Prioritize and execute projects in consultation with Team Housing Manager
- Assist with tracking expenses and optimizing costs while maintaining high-quality maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate project statuses with cross functional teams.

Preferred qualifications and skills:

- Proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and excellent organizational, com
