We are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager on behalf of one of our valued clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety‐focused professional who thrives in field‐based and remote‐camp environments.

About the Role The Health & Safety Manager will champion safe work practices, support field operations, and help shape a strong safety culture across daily activities. This position is hands‐on, collaborative, and ideal for someone who excels at building trust and communicating with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- Ensure health and safety programs comply with all provincial regulations.
- Support site teams in meeting Prime Contractor responsibilities and ensure staff understand their obligations.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across camp and field operations.
- Provide safety guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and partners.
- Lead FLHAs, hazard assessments, inspections, COR audits, and incident investigations.
- Review accident reports and follow through on corrective actions.
- Work with clients during safety audits and collaborate on improvement strategies.
- Develop and deliver safety and emergency‐response training sessions.
- Coach employees and supervisors with a \"here's how to do it safely\" approach.
- Maintain accurate safety logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Lead and manage the Bistrainer Safety Software System for field operations.
- Support camp maintenance personnel to ensure all required safety‐related repairs and documentation are completed.
Qualifications and Experience:\n
- Strong knowledge of workplace hazards, risk assessments, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to train and support workers with varying English literacy levels.
- Proven ability to build, influence, and maintain a positive safety culture.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an OH&S; role; education or certification in safety is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety software platforms.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and ability to travel year‐round.
Pay: CA$38.00 - $42.00 per hour\n
