About Working on a ?Floatel?\nLandSea will be providing workforce catering and accommodation services for guests onboard the MV Isabelle, a 650-passenger ?Floatel?.

At work, the crew is provided with accommodation, full meals, and WIFI, and can access health/gym facilities when off work. We provide partial uniforms and help with the travel/reservations as needed to and from locations. Excellent Health and Wellness benefits are being offered.

About The Opportunity\nThis is a temporary position for a service contract that will end on January 30th, 2027. We currently have openings for\n2\nLaundry Attendants in the Housekeeping Department.
\n
The Housekeeping department is responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and service in guest staterooms, public areas, and open decks.
\n
As a Laundry Attendant, you will have the ability to work long shifts and you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely processing of guest and crew laundry.
\n
Applicants must have prior experience within the hospitality industry and an understanding of public health and environmental requirements relating to laundry service. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, solid organizational skills and excellent multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This will contribute to maintaining exacting standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction on the vessel.

Job Responsibilities
\nLaundry Operations:\nOperate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, to process guest and crew laundry efficiently and according to established procedures.\n
Sorting and Processing:\nSort and organize laundry items based on fabric type, color, and specific instructions. Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper handling and care.
\n
Stain Removal:\nIdentify and treat stains on garments and linens using appropriate stain removal techniques and products. Follow standard stain removal procedures to ensure the best possible results.
\n
Ironing and Folding:\nIron and press laundered items, ensuring proper techniques and quality standards are met. Fold and package finished laundry items neatly and accurately.
\n
Inventory Management:\nMaintain inventory of linens, uniforms, and other laundry items. Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with inventory control and ordering as directed.
\n
Quality Control:\nInspect laundered items for quality, including cleanliness, freshness, and proper finishing. Address any issues or rewash items as necessary to maintain high standards.
\n
Safety and Sanitation:\nFollow safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
\n
Record Keeping:\nMaintain accurate records of laundry operations, including items processed, dates, and any special instructions or notes. Complete required forms and reports as directed.
\n
Team Collaboration:\nWork closely with other laundry staff, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure efficient operations, timely delivery of laundry, and guest satisfaction.

Adaptability:\nWillingness to work flexible hours (nights, weekends and holidays) in different areas of the laundry department and perform various tasks as required, while adapting to ship?s changing schedules, demands,
