Full Job Description:
Freson Market Ltd/Freson Bros. – Hinton, Alberta seeks a qualified Retail Store Supervisor
Terms: Permanent, full time employment, Shift Work, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Wage: $23.75 per hour, 40 hours per week, benefits provided (for full time employees)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 32 Carmichael Lane, Hinton, AB T7V 1S8
Education: Completion of high school
Experience: 2 – 3 years in sales in a retail store
Work setting: Retail food service
Language: English

Specific Tasks:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of department staff and cashiers
- Establish work schedule and assign department staff to duties
- Resolve department operations or customer service issues that may arise
- Prepare reports on department operations based on quality, service, cleanliness, merchandising, and staffing performance
- Assist in interviewing and selection of department staff
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised
- May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, addressing escalated complaints
- Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
