We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and giving correct change
- Ensure all food safety and food handling standards are strictly followed
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and utensils in compliance with health regulations
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, addressing any special requests or concerns
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and making accurate change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices is a plus
