We are seeking a licensed part time Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, and ensuring safe and effective medication use. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team to provide professional pharmacy services in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physicians’ orders and legal requirements
- Provide medication counseling and patient education
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness and drug interactions
- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, vaccinations, minor ailment prescribing if applicable
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and professional standards
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Experience in a community pharmacy setting is an asset
