Responsibilities:
- Sit with Casualty portfolio team, spend time with the accounts â will be working on mainly property but supporting some other areas of the business as well
- Maintenance of the accounts, loss runs to the brokers, premium and policies are up to date and entered into the system
- Manage the portfolio and Underwriters
- No crazy data entry required
- Assigned a portfolio of casualty accounts and responsible for managing the portfolio by supporting the underwriters
- Team is very high volume right now, have had a few team members leave. More volume on the casualty team but less complexity on these files.
- Supporting the team right now is about service, have 3 new members joining in May. The casualty team has received bad service from the team over the past couple of months so need to navigate that pressure
Must Haves:
- Multi Task & management skills to oversee and advance ongoing projects
- Ability to adapt quickly to the team's dynamics and work setting
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the existing team and stakeholders
- Flexibility and adaptability to seamlessly integrate into the operations team
- Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality work in a similar role
- Understanding of the business operations and goals to contribute meaningfully during this interim period
- Excel Knowledge â need to have very strong Excel skills!
- Basic Insurance Understanding.
