ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Overall responsibility
Assist the Maintenance Department with ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed.
Key areas of responsibility
Take care of purchase and inventory for the maintenance department.
Keep spare parts and equipment centralized
Picking up purchased orders
Complete general maintenance duties as directed.
Assist with reviewing maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement.
Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned by applicable Manager (s).
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Maintain confidentiality regarding all projects, property and intellectual property of the company.
Report all discrepancies and breaches of any and all company procedures, protocols and integrity.
Follow all Food Safety, Quality Management System and Health and Safety requirements.
Obey all general job training instructions, safe work practices and procedures.
SPECIFIC SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
Forklift License
High School Diploma/Certificate
2 - 5 year relevant experience
Experience with the operation of farm/construction equipment
Leadership skills, ability to be objective
Organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
