We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team at Groove Dental. We are currently looking for someone to start at 3-4 days per week, with the potential to move to a full-time position of 5 days per week in the future. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive and periodontal dental care, educating patients on oral health, proficient in record taking and supporting the overall patient experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-centered environment with a focus on comprehensive dental health with modern equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic, preventive and periodontal services
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
- Manage patient scheduling for recare
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario with valuable standing
- Experience working in a dental office setting; experience with Dentrix ideal
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work well within a team environment and independently when necessary
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
