We are currently seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to work on our 14 East Unit. Humber River Health's 14 East is divided into two different focuses on acute stroke and medicine patients.

Reporting Relationship: Manager, 13 / 14E
Hourly Rate: $36.929 - $37.466
Union Group: NOWU
Hours of work: Rotating shifts, 8 or 12 hours, days/evenings/nights/weekends
Location: Humber River Health – Wilson Site
Position Responsibilities:
- RPN duties as assigned on 14 East.
- Care planning and coordination of care with various team members.
- Utilization of computerized systems for patient care documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.
- Current RPN registration (in positive standing) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum 1 year acute medical/surgical experience is preferred.
- Advance Physical Assessment skills are required.
- Meditech experience is an asset.
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
