Northern Equipment Services Inc. is seeking a highly organized and dependable Office Administrator to provide accurate job estimates, perform daily administrative tasks and to support other team members. This role is essential in maintaining effective workflows, supporting staff members, and ensuring a professional environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for estimating and quoting jobs.
- Work alongside supervisors and management to conduct in the field job assessments (Training will be provided)
- Answer incoming calls and emails
- Maintain and organize office files and records (digital and physical)
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage calendars
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and documentation
- Provide administrative support to management and staff
- Greet visitors and maintain a professional front office presence
- Other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Business Administration (preferred)
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (preferred)
- Previous experience with quoting/estimating jobs is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
