We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a energetic workplace where technical expertise and problem-solving skills are highly valued. The Mechanic will play a crucial part in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.
This position is to be on the road in Alberta
Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems
Collaborate with team members to schedule repairs with minimal disruption to operations
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
Experience
Proven experience as a mechanic with construction equipment preferred
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is preferred
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Level 4 (Red Seal) preferred but not necessary.
Experience with Heavy Duty equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 84 per week
