Receptionist
Smith & Hersey Agribusiness Law LLP - Medicine Hat, AB
This permanent, full-time Reception role is in our Drumheller office of Smith & Hersey Agribusiness Law LLP. Position holds potential for advancement as competency is demonstrated.
The Role
¡ Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
¡ Greet, welcome and direct guests as soon as they arrive at the office
¡ Taking payments
¡ Ensure reception area and reception desk are tidy and presentable at all times
¡ Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
¡ Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
¡ Update calendars and schedule meetings
¡ Keep updated records
¡ Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, opening and managing file
¡ Pick up any package and supply pick up
¡ Basic cleaning of all common areas nightly
¡ Other duties as required
Requirements and skills
¡ High school diploma or equivalent
¡ Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
¡ Entry level to moderate computer skills
¡ Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
¡ Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
¡ Skilled attitude and appearance (i.e. business attire)
¡ Customer service attitude
¡ Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
