POSITION SUMMARY:
As part of our opening team, the Bar Manager will curate, develop, oversee, and manage the bar program, while working closely with the bar team to support the creation and delivery of a unique and elevated beverage guest experience that is in harmony with the kitchen’s food program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the day-to-day bar operations in the restaurant
- Serve as an educator, as well as an inspirational, committed, and responsible leader to the restaurant’s front-of-house teams
- Maintain exceptional bar cleanliness and equipment to optimal specifications
- Prepare for and inspires staff to deliver a memorable beverage experience
- Design creative and elevated custom cocktails, while being well-versed in classic cocktail culture
- Deliver superior customer service through effective training and education
- Lead by example by delivering superior consistent customer service and hospitality
- Maximize resources and inventories by managing cost and maintaining and monitoring inventory and budget to ensure the best use of inventory and allocation of expenses
- Develop a strong rapport with agents and distillers
- Drive positive results and aligns with business goals
- Under the direction of the Restaurant Director, initiate and execute special projects as required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

At least three years of experience leading a premium beverage operation
- Hold a skilled recognized wine and/or spirits certificate
- University degree in a related field such as hospitality management or business administration
- Experience curating and managing inventory with both fiscal responsibility and award garnering intentions
- Strong business acumen with a proven ability to provide insightful industry leading, best-in-class outcomes to perpetuate growth in a premium service setting
- Highly committed to a premium level of quality
- Skilled at developing and creating beverage experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze current business problems and implement recommended solutions
- A solutions-provider committed to a vision of service to create an ultimate guest experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Superior conflict resolution skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
