The Expert Business Analyst supports Commercial Lending Operations by driving process optimization, straight through processing, and improved data integrity through emerging technologies such as AI and Robotic Process Automation. This role partners with Business Analysts, SMEs, Project Delivery, and senior leadership to execute the first year of a multiyear improvement roadmap while helping shape future initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows in collaboration with business and technology partners.
- Provide operational expertise from business case development through project execution.
- Deliver Lean process improvement, cost/benefit analysis, charters, business cases, requirements, and performance metrics.
- Support change management efforts, including stakeholder analysis, communications, and training plans.
- Conduct volume, product, and attribute analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead or support the creation of communication plans and tailored messaging for project initiatives.
- Break down strategic problems, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and implement operational solutions.
- Monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure successful execution of initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
- In-depth subject matter expertise in the business domain.
- Solid Lean process improvement capabilities.
- Advanced communication, analytical, problem solving, collaboration, and influence skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage nonroutine situations, and make datadriven decisions.
