We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Financial Analyst, to join our Marketing Finance team. In this role, you will act as a business partner to the Quebec Marketing team and provides financial analysis support to the Finance Manager, Marketing & Retail Media Network Finance. The position is responsible for reporting, period-end close activities, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis related to the Quebec Marketing portfolios.

This position may be based in our Mississauga, Calgary, Montreal or Nova Scotia office locations.
\n
Hereu2019s where youu2019ll be focusing:
\n
Prepare month-end and quarter-end close activities including accrual preparation, expense reviews, and financial reconciliations;
\n
Partner with Quebec marketing teams to track campaign spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets and forecasts;
\n
Perform variance analysis and commentary on marketing spend versus budget and forecast;
\n
Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for marketing expenses and ensure it is completed within prescribed deadlines;
\n
Assist Finance Manager, Marketing & RMN in process of creating and maintaining forecasting, and budgeting templates;
\n
Assist Finance Manager, Marketing &RMN; in development of various analyses and ad hoc requests;
\n
Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance measurement tools and reporting to further meet the needs of the business.
\n
What you have to offer:
\n
Bacheloru2019s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. CPA designation or working toward CPA is preferred;
\n
2u20135 years of experience in financial analysis, or experience supporting marketing or advertising budgets preferred;
\n
Strong understanding of accounting principles including accrual accounting and period-end close processes;
\n
Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset, particularly for supporting Quebec portfolios;
\n
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy;
\n
Medium or Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP) or Power Query or Power BI is an asset;
\n
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams;
\n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment.
