Weyerhaeuser's (Engineered Lumber Products) Kenora Timberstrand® manufacturing Plant, is currently seeking permanent full-time Journeyman Millwright. Our plant manufactures the high strength engineered wood product Timberstrand® in a 24/7 operations, non-union, manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the Millwright will be responsible for:
- Preform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic system and components.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment issues.
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Use SAP for Materials and Work Order Management.
- Basic welding and fabrication.
- Coordinate contractor activities as required.
- Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner.
- Complete all jobs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Trades Qualification in an applicable discipline (must be certified in a mechanical trade).
- 3 – 5 Years in an industrial environment would be an asset.
- Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing to work on a rotating shift schedule that includes both days and nights, 12-hour continuous shifts.
- The successful applicant will be provided with training and support.
